Gil Kerlikowske, head of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, said in an interview on Wednesday that he wants to banish the idea of a war on drugs:
"Regardless of how you try to explain to people it's a 'war on drugs' or a 'war on a product,' people see a war as a war on them," he said. "We're not at war with people in this country."He isn't for legalization of pot though, so calm down. However, he's good at following orders if it is decriminalized, so dream a little dream.
