And by the by, I'm one of those people who think Hitler gave some great speeches, but this is a really good speech IMO. I find its contents deplorable, but she's both presenting herself while at the same time rallying the base behind McCain. Add in some hardcore Obama trash talking and you've pretty much got all you'd want from a speech like this. Although I'm not sure the being economical with the truth parts (bridge, oil) will sit very well with the media. But Republican strategists have known for a long time that people tend to forget these things quickly.
And by the by, I'm one of those people who think Hitler gave some great speeches, but this is a really good speech IMO. I find its contents deplorable, but she's both presenting herself while at the same time rallying the base behind McCain. Add in some hardcore Obama trash talking and you've pretty much got all you'd want from a speech like this.
